Our Sunday School is every Sunday from 11 am – noon.
Christian Science Sunday School affords a practical, spiritual means of meeting and healing the problems young people encounter in everyday life. Our Sunday School classes, for young people under twenty, are divided by age groups, and are designed to meet the needs of each individual student. Classes are based on the Bible, and also use Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy to help the students dig deeper.
Everyone can practice the healing ideas taught in the Bible and in the weekly Bible Lesson found in the Christian Science Quarterly. Students of all ages are taught the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and its spiritual interpretation by Mrs. Eddy, and the Sermon on the Mount.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and talk about challenges they may be facing. A Christian Science Sunday School experience is designed to teach them how to heal problems by elevating thought to a more spiritual perspective. Knowing the truth makes us free. A Christian Science Sunday School experience equips young people with wisdom to be used for a lifetime.
We enjoy a warm, friendly, family feeling of togetherness, and all are welcome to join us.
Available for children and teenagers, they explore Bible stories to discover their deeper spiritual meaning and their relevance to everyday life.
The Children’s Room is located in the church building for infants and those too young for Sunday School.

Eagle Scout Project
One of our Sunday School students, Owen, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 200 in Yorktown. He is working to become an Eagle Scout and chose to build two new benches for our church’s garden as a service project. Some of his fellow Scouts helped build them. Thank you, Owen! Thank you, Scouts!
